Tabitha Page is an emerging writer/photographer who lives in Melbourne, Australia.
She left her home country of New Zealand for a land full of new opportunities and new challenges and she found just that, in bucketful’s.
A trained childcare professional, she holds a certificate in Child Psychology, a certificate and diploma in Children’s Services and has many years of childcare experience behind her.
Caring for children with various illness and disabilities, living with her own Autoimmune disease and with her love for writing, Tabitha decided that sharing her experiences and thoughts was going to be the perfect choice for her and for readers.
A writer, book lover, amateur photographer and someone who loves to be creative, Tabitha has self-published a calendar of original quotes and images and often shares quotes, poems and images via her social media. She spent the better part of 18 months writing for an online review website before branching out and starting a review page of her own on social media (which she does admit, she does not post on enough!) Here she posts reviews of places, events and activities she experiences.
Currently, Tabitha has a children’s picture book series and a YA novel in the works, all featuring characters with disabilities. With these books, she aims to inspire and bring about more awareness and acceptance of those who are a little different from the majority, but no less important and special.
Tabitha was published in a children's anthology 'The Toy Chest' by Prints Charming Books in 2017. This was her first time 'officially published' and she has three pieces of work in the book.
Tabitha has both writing and images coming out in another anthology 'X and the pony', which is also being collated by Prints Charming Books. There are a few others in the works as well, which she is looking forward to seeing.
On the 1st January 2018, Tabitha released the very first edition of WRITE ON. Her monthly newsletter is chock full of anything and everything KidsLit and she is exited to see where it leads (details on the 'Write On' page of this website).
